Jensen Outdoor - Beautiful, Durable Patio Furniture

Jensen Outdoor knows that outdoor furniture must be very durable, which is why they incorporate only high-quality materials into their designs. Materials such as Ipe wood, known not only for rich, natural beauty but also for quality — easily resist weather and use-related damage such as scuffing, cracking, and warping. Jensen outdoor uses Ipe wood as a structural foundation and durable outdoor fabrics such as Nature Safe's Woven Viro® Fiber (a high-quality polyethylene known for its high-end look, fabric strength, and resistance color-fading). They also integrate Sunbrella® fabrics with some of their other pieces. This fabric used for cushions is available in various colors and patterns and is specially designed for outdoor living. With essential features built right into the material, including

Resistance to UV rays to prevent color-fading
Resistance to stains and dirt
Rain, temperature, and time resistant

Jensen also uses commercial-grade powder-coated aluminum to provide structure for pieces (without adding bulky weight), along with a high-pressure laminate material for their table surfaces.

Jensen Outdoor - Sustainable Furniture

Jensen takes their sustainability practices seriously since Ipe trees comprise one of the cornerstones of many of their products. This particular tree takes almost a century to grow to full maturity, and Jensen understands they must have a long-term plan to keep their harvesting footprint as small as possible. This is why they partnered with the country of Bolivia to co-manage over 2 million acres of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®)-Certified forestland in Eastern Bolivia.
